This project reimagines the after-school study environment as a place that feels both supportive and familiar, somewhere between a classroom and a home. Designed for children to complete their homework under professional guidance, the space encourages focus while also allowing moments of pause, interaction, and relaxation.
The layout unfolds into a sequence of distinct yet connected zones for collaboration, focused study, and rest, creating a balanced and intuitive flow. Natural materials, soft pastel tones, and playful details establish a calm, welcoming atmosphere, while custom-designed furniture integrates storage, functionality, and a scale tailored to children.
Particular attention was given to comfort and everyday rituals. Alongside study areas, spaces for eating and unwinding are seamlessly incorporated, supporting a more holistic after-school experience.
The result is an environment that balances structure with ease, where learning becomes part of a gentle, engaging daily rhythm.
The space fosters focus, creativity, and a strong sense of belonging, while its child friendly scale invites exploration, interaction, and comfort throughout the day.
